BACKGROUND
Welcome to the home of the Town Hall and Burgess-Kimball Memorial Park Master Site Plan project. Here you will find information about the project, opportunities to participate, and other news and materials.
The Town has engaged the municipal planning and engineering firm Delaware Engineering, D.P.C to conduct an assessment of the Town’s major facilities and help local officials prioritize capital improvements. The assessment recommends demolition and reconstruction of Highway Department facilities at a separate Town owned site. With the relocation of Highway Department facilities, comes an opportunity to reimagine the site of Town Hall and Burgess-Kimball Memorial Park through the development of a Town Center Master Site Plan (Plan). Your input will play a major part in developing the Plan with enhanced recreational and commercial amenities made available in our neighboring communities. Using your input, we will be presenting to the community illustrated site plan concepts to guide redevelopment activities at the center of Milton.
OPPORTUNITIES TO PARTICIPATE & PROVIDE YOUR INPUT
The master site plan cannot be developed without input from our community stakeholders who live, work, and play in Milton. To that end, we have created a community engagement process and will be providing the community with opportunities to participate in the development of the vision for the Town Center. Below you will find opportunities to provide your input:
